Day 01 = 12/01/2018 = Arrival at Ahmedabad

Welcome to Ahmedabad one of the largest city in the state of Gujarat and one of the largest urban agglomerations in India with a population of approximately 52 lakhs (5.3 million). Located on the banks of the River Sabarmati the city is the administrative centre of Ahmedabad district.
Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel. ( Only Transfer )
Overnight at Ahmedabad.

Day 02 = 13/01/2018 = Ahmedabad Sightseeing – Kite Festival.

After breakfast proceed to
Kites Festival held by Gujarat Government (date will be confirm on closer time) : Kites are believed to have first arrived in India either through Muslim traders coming eastward through Persia or Buddhist pilgrims coming from China in search of sacred texts. Either way, they have a long history in the region. Over 1000 years ago, kites were mentioned in song by the composer Santnambe, and numerous classic miniature paintings of typical scenes in the area depict people flying kites. Since Gujarat is at the westernmost edge of India, it is one of the regions where Muslim and Hindu cultures have blended to a great degree in many aspects. Hence, the development of using kites, probably brought by Muslims, to celebrate Uttarayan, a Hindu festival. Still, no one knows exactly when this tradition began.
After noon visit Shreyas Folk Museum - one of the informative and educational museums located close to the suburbs of Ambavadi near Sabarmati. This museum displays the colorful and traditional folk arts of Gujarat. from textile and clothing to the decorative collectibles, the Shreyas Folk Museum brings out the traditional rustic flavor and cultural heritage of Gujarat.
Continue proceed to Gandhi Ashram : Also known as Sabarmati Ashram, Harijan Ashram, or Satyagraha Ashram, is located in the Ahmedabad suburb of Sabarmati adjoining to famous Ashram Road, at the bank of River Sabarmati. The ashram was originally established at the Kocharab Bungalow of Jivanlal Desai on 25 May 1915. The Ashram was then shifted on 17 June 1917 to a piece of open land on the banks of the river Sabarmati.
Hutheesing Jain Temple : Constructed in the year 1850 AD is a very famous Jain temple. It has been named after its founder Seth Hathee Singh, a prosperous Jain merchant. Hathee Singh Jain temple of Ahmedabad was built in the dedication of the 15th Jain Trithanakara named Dharmnath. The temple is known for its fabulous architectural styling and designing that consists of intricate carvings.
The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad. The mosque was built by Sidi Saiyyed, who was a slave of Sultan Ahmed Shah. The mosque was built in the last year of the Sultanate of Gujarat.

Day 04 = 14/01/2018 = Ahmedabad – Vadodara – UTTARAYAN FESTIVAL.

After breakfast drive to Vadodara history can be traced back to more than 2000 years. It was under the rule of Babi Nawabs before Gaekwars took over the charge. The Babi Nawabs were the officers of the Delhi rulers. However with the end of the Mughal rule in 1732, the Maratha activities were introduced in Southern Gujarat by the Pilaji Rao Gaekwar to head the town.

Day 05 = 15/01/2018 = Vadodara – Champaner – Jambhugodha

After breakfast drive to Jambughoda enroute visit Champaner,
Champaner - Champaner exhibits some of the finest examples of fusion architecture, sculpted by mellifluous architects from different culture and civilizations. Declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Champaner is scattered over an area of 6 sq km around the foothills of Pavagadh. The main monument is the Jumma Masjid which was built in 1513 .A satellite mapping of the area has revealed large tracts which are yet to be excavated.

Later proceed to Jambhugodha,   huddles sleepily at the foothills of the Vindhyas. The drive is a pleasure by itself. The road passes through Champaner -- a world Heritage site. It meanders through lush green teak and bamboo forests interspersed with tribal pockets. The sheer greenery and the rustic charm of the palace take time to sink. For a moment you stand rooted in time

Day 06 = 16/01/2018 = Jambhugodha. – Tribal villages

After breakfast Visit most of the tribals living in and around Jambughoda are ‘Rathwas’ & ‘Nayaks’. They are superstitious and God-fearing people. The entrance to their home is through a richly carved wooden door with figurines and tribal icons. The front is usually decorated with Pithora paintings for which the ‘Rathwas are known for. The tribals do not live in hamlets. Their dwellings are separated from each other by considerable distance. The tribal museum of Chhota Udaipur has a large collection of tribal artifacts. Many tribal artifacts are also brought for sale in the ‘haats’ (weekly markets) in the city and nearby villages.

Day 07 = 17/01/2018 = Jambhugodha – Surat

After breakfast drive to Surat, Surat known as Silk City & Diamond City is located in western part of India in the state of Gujarat . Surat situated on the left bank of the Tapi River . Surat is second largest city in Gujarat and ninth largest in India. Surat is famous for its textile and diamond businesses. Three-quarters of the world's diamonds are cut and polished in Surat.

Day 08 = 19/01/2018 = Surat – Saputara

After breakfast drive to Saputara, Saputara hill station is on a plateau in the Dang forest area of Western Ghats (Sahyadri) range at an altitude of about 900 metres. Saputara means the 'Abode of Serpents' and a snake image on the banks of the river Sarpaganga is worshiped by the Adivasis on Holi. ... The Maharashtra state border is 4 km from Saputara.

Day 09 = 20/01/2018 = Saputara – Tribal villages
After breakfast drive to Saputara.
Gujarat’s picturesque hill station is perched on a plateau in the Dang forest area of the Sahyadari Range. At an altitude of about 1000m. It has a cool bracing climate, the highest temprature even in the summer months not exceeding 28 Degree C.
Afternoon visit various tribal villages at Saputara, considered to the most primitive tribal community.

Day 10 = 21/01/2018 = Saputara – Surat Apt/Station Drop


After Breakfast proceed to Surat Airport for Departure flighjt to Mumbai.
